Bella Hart-Peckboard presidentBella Hart-Peck is an 19 year old college sophomore at Western Carolina University studying stage and screen. Bella has been involved in the arts every since she was young, starting off in elementary school at the Arts Based Charter School. Bella has been acting around the community since she was 12, you may recognize her as Beth from Little Theatre’s Little Women or Mitch Mahoney from UNCSA’s acting out program’s production of the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Other than acting, Bella spends her free time writing short stories and building her photography portfolio. Bella is also the co-writer and technical director for SPARK’s upcoming debut Me, My Brain & I. She feels so incredibly excited to be leading such a wonderful team to tackle the arts from a different direction.

Grace reasonerboard vice presidentGrace Reasoner is an 19 year old sophomore acting major at Columbia College Chicago. She has been working in community theatre from a very young age, both on and off stage. Some of her favorite experiences have been working as the director of her own play Conversations, as well as performing as Race in Newsies and Meg in A Wrinkle In Time. Grace is also the co-writer and director of SPARK’s debut show Me, My Brain, & I. Grace is incredibly proud to be a part of this teen-collective and is very passionate about telling real stories from young perspectives.

sophie severscommunications managerSophie Severs is a 17 year old high school senior at Salem Academy. She has been involved in the arts ever since she was young, working both onstage and behind the scenes. Some of her favorite experiences have been stage managing Disney's "Newsies," and performing as Bianca in "The Taming of the Shrew." Sophie hopes that SPARK will help shed light on the challenges that are experienced by many young people in society today.

emi curiaMarketing & social media managerEmi Curia is a 17 year old senior at R.J. Reynolds High School. She has been pursuing musical theatre and dance from a very young age. While her favorite lead roles include Lady Marian in The Adventures of Robin Hood and Ellie Blake in Freaky Friday, she finds the same amount of pleasure in her ensemble roles. Her favorite ensemble shows are Mamma Mia, We Will Rock You, and Newsies (which she's done twice!). Currently, she is playing Molly Aster in Reynold's Peter and the Starcatcher. She has been studying film acting with Burgess Jenkins at Carolina's Actors Group for three years and studies advanced tap and jazz at UNCSA. She has also starred in two short films at UNCSA, "Daughters" and "Logged On." She is a Co-Founder/Social Media Coordinator at Spring's SPARK, a sub-company that produces shows by teens, for teens. She's excited to see what the future may bring her.

ANNA hartleHead DesignerAnna Hartle is a 18-year-old junior with 14 years of performance experience. She thrives in creative spaces where she can grow as an artist and build relationships. Favorite principal roles include Maggie Winslow in A Chorus Line (UNCSA) and Little Red in Into The Woods (Yadkin Arts Council). Favorite ensemble roles include The Addams' Family Musical and Thoroughly Modern Millie (Yadkin Arts Council), and Newsies and Singin' In The Rain Jr. (Spring Theatre). She studies dance at Juxtaposition Studios, advanced dance for musical theatre at UNCSA, voice with Alicia Reid, acting for film at Actor's Group with Burgess Jenkins, and comedy at The Second City Chicago Training Center. Alaska is proud to be a founding member and head designer with SPARK and is so excited about its future. In her free time, she practices guitar, piano, and ukulele, and paints, sews, knits, and sculpts - always creating.
